The piece is the headline item in the Propstore sale which will see over 1,5000 lots go under the hammer in the four-day Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, which kicks off on Thursday, November 3, 2022. It runs through to Sunday, November 6, 2022. The auction is expected to make more than $12.6 million (£11 million).

The sale is a treasure trove of treats for movie and TV lovers with some disposable income and boasts offerings from a wide range of films and shows for a wide range of budgets.

Other big ticket lots include screen-matched Darth Vader gloves, worn by the late Dave Prowse, from Star Wars: O nouă speranță. They have an estimate of $172,362 to $287,270 (£150,000 to £250,000). Certain to draw attention is a full-size animatronic Johnny 5 robot from the classic 1986 movie Scurt circuit, which is expected to find a new home for between $138,546 and $207,819 (£120,000 and £180,000). If you want to be a part of it but don’t have that kind of money to spend, there are cheaper lots, including a vehicle decal from Jurassic Park: The Ride, which could be yours for $574 to $804 (£500 to £700). If you’d love to buy the Supraom suit but can’t stretch your savings that far, a set of rare Marlon Brando behind-the-scenes photos from the original Supraom movie are going under the hammer for $344 to $574 (£300 to £500).
