Another day, another Wordle—that’s quickly becoming my midnight mantra. Only tonight, I can also say TGIF!

Let’s talk about today’s Wordle word of the day #216. The answer is below so read on at your own risk. I’ll also give a hint in case you want to try that before moving on to the solution. I guessed today’s word in four guesses, though my first guess was aproape corecta.

How Wordle Works (Briefly)

Basically, Wordle is a fun, free word puzzle game that you can play once each day if you like solving this kind of thing. It’s simple and easy to play, but some of the words can be really challenging!

Another great thing about Wordle is that you never have to deal with any ads or microtransactions. Creator Josh Wardle made it totally free, totally ad-free and it’s all the better for it.

Note also: This game is nu on the App Store or Google Play. Instead, you’ll just need to play in your browser.

When you go to the game’s website you’ll see six rows of boxes, with five boxes in each row. Each row represents a guess. Type in a word, hit enter and see if you get it right.

Each correct letter turns green if it’s in the right spot and turns yellow if it’s in the wrong spot. Incorrect letters turn grey. You get six guesses.

În primul rând, un indiciu: Only a tiny one and the princess fell into a deep and magical slumber.

Răspunsul:

This one was pretty crazy. I was thinking about what word I’d go with as my first guess just minutes before this one went live and the word ‘PRISM’ popped into my head.

I was shocked to see the first three letters weren’t just correct but in the correct spot also.

Still, I had to guess three more times to get the right word, ‘PRICK.’

I mean, at this point it’s just dumb luck. Both ‘PRINT’ and ‘PRIDE’ were perfectly reasonable guesses. Besides, PRICK almost feels like it belongs in the hilarious NSFW Wordle spinoff game Lewdle.

Acum că este a pretty great copy-cat game if you ask me.

Stray observation: I think this might be my first Wordle with only green letters and not a single yellow. Neat!
