Protocolul Blockchain descentralizat Minima se alătură MobilityXlab

minime, the decentralized blockchain protocol, has been chosen to join the 11 global start-ups club. It will develop innovative mobility solutions through MobilityXlab, which should lead to safer roads.

MobilityXlab is a leading company in the vehicle and mobile communication business. Cars are actually able to communicate with each other, and also with the wider networks.

As cars become more and more like computers on wheels, Blockchain technology can help redesign the whole paradigm of car ownership, autonomy, and traffic insurance.

As autos evolve, there is an opportunity to make the roads safer, and driving more efficient. Blockchain should play a role in this evolution.

Safer Roads Via Blockchain

Autonomous cars also have accidents, but now claim specialists, brokers, victims and insurers, will be able to use blockchain technology to handle exact data.

MobilityXlab are strong working bonds with other world leading mobility partners, like Volvo Group & Zenseact, Volvo Cars, Ericsson, Veoneer or Pelostar.

Its teams take part in almost every part of the processes, from leading the collaboration programs, to screening new applicants. Furthermore, a start-up has to be selected by two or more of its industry partners, to get to be invited into the program.

This method reassures the increase of the outcomes for PoC (Proof of concept) and validation projects, and reinforces knowledge sharing at the same time.

Cars Can Communicate

Minima will create a V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle) communication protocol, partnering with the leaders in mobility solutions, as from August this year.

A decentralized network of globally connected cars and devices will be demonstrated by Minima during the program. There are a wide range of communication options that exist today.

The Layer1 security protocol, distributed across all the participating nodes, will enhance the security level. The goal is to have cars to be authentic autonomous units, with guaranteed security of data

It will be fully connected with mobile phones and the other cars on the network.

Communication and chat features for users to exchange messaging and information, will be allowed through a P2P (Peer to Peer) network of connected nodes.

Loyalty programs, rewards and sharing benefits will also run smoothly through the network. With all these tools, this program could be the example for many other platforms to follow.

At the moment, 80 start-ups have joined MobilityXlab, with 12 commercial contracts, since MobilityXlab was launched in 2017.

A Better System

Owning a private car is going to become obsolete and expensive in many markets. The trend is rapidly shifting to community ownership in a renting economy.

The industry is going to benefit from generating value with ride sharing, charging and car rental. There is no replacing autos, even if there is a push away from fossil fuels.

Minima´s technology aims to catch the wave, and fulfill the growing needs for cheap vehicle to vehicle communication, and easy and clean critical data transfer.

Hugo Feiler, CEO at Minima , commented,

“We’re thrilled to be part of the MobilityXlab program and can’t wait to demonstrate the benefits of a truly decentralized network for mobility more broadly, and vehicle-to-vehicle communication in particular…When each car is a fully sovereign, functional node on the network, communication between them becomes more secure and resilient which we believe to be crucial for any future that involves autonomous vehicles.”

The tech industry is growing exponentially, and major breakthroughs happen more and more often each day.

Keeping track and finding ways to make a difference takes a whole lot of data processing and wisdom. There is no real limit to how blockchain can be used for record keeping, and this tie up shows that potential can be unlocked with cooperation.

Cryptocurrencies may fall and rise, but the change is unstoppable, and with new blockchain tools, life should improve.
